Our family has lived in Franklin, Tennessee for nearly a century. Historic Downtown Franklin rests mere minutes from our original, 1919 Stone Oaks home that has been in the Rogers/Akin family for generations.

As long-term natives of Franklin, we love to share our knowledge and love for the area with all of our guests. Damon (originally Mary Damon) and Mark Rogers feel privileged to be the custodians of Damon's family home, Stone Oaks, built in 1919. Mark is a retired Naval officer and upon retirement in 2000, they returned to their Franklin roots!

Mark served for 30 years and as a couple, they have lived and travelled the world. It is evident they collected during their Navy years, however, the Southern influence and love of antiques abound.

Franklin has been named the 'best small town in Tennessee' and your hosts are eager to share their knowledge of the area whether it be sightseeing, food, tours, or shopping. As natives of Franklin, Tn they will lead you in the right direction.

What makes Rogers Homeport different is the feeling of coming home, even though you're just visiting. The care we take in welcoming our guests and making them feel a part of our growing family. You'll see grand kids and family dogs running down to the creek to find crawdaddies, neighborhood cookouts and fire pits.
